Jacques Maya makes lush liquid drum and bass. You know the stuff I’m on about. You could play it to your nan but also loose yourself in at at 2AM on a Saturday night. He’s released music on Fokuz and the mighty Spearhead Records, and is only just getting started. With a classically trained background and a style that oozes quality, we are happy to bring you a bit of an insight into the words and works of this intuitive and enterprising up and coming producer.

The Colonel has been rocking the weekly STAMINA nights in San Francisco week in, week out for time. Inspired by Roni Size and Dynamite MC and the infamous Metalheadz Sunday Sessions at the Bluenote on a visit to the UK back in the 90s, he went back home a man on a mission, and having never previously picked up a mic before, has gone on to cement a place in the hallowed ranks of American MCs. He lives the culture, and it shows in both his lyrics and delivery style. We fell in love with him the first time we heard his stuff on Shoot Recordings a while back, and made it our mission to catch up with him to hear his story! Big up THE COLONEL!

Robyn Chaos carries iconic status in the d’n’b scene, especially in the darkstep movement. DJing worldwide under her brand Therapy Sessions, she is not only a producer, vocalist and songwriter, but shows great experience and talent as promoter and agent.
Sarah O’Moore has an instantly recognisable, bluesy voice that compliments the DNB tempo perfectly. We’ve been championing her sound on SoundCloud for a while now, and gladly catch up with her here to catch a glimpse into her musical story!
