The Colonel has been rocking the weekly STAMINA nights in San Francisco week in, week out for time. Inspired by Roni Size and Dynamite MC and the infamous Metalheadz Sunday Sessions at the Bluenote on a visit to the UK back in the 90s, he went back home a man on a mission, and having never previously picked up a mic before, has gone on to cement a place in the hallowed ranks of American MCs. He lives the culture, and it shows in both his lyrics and delivery style. We fell in love with him the first time we heard his stuff on Shoot Recordings a while back, and made it our mission to catch up with him to hear his story! Big up THE COLONEL!
