Breaking New Talent #01 – Kzekha – (UK)
When we wrote for the mighty Eternity Magazine many, many (that’s quite a lot) years ago, one of the things we loved most about the publication was their ‘Breaking New Talent’ feature. Up and coming DJs and producers would send in mix tapes and demos and the editorial team would sift through them and give a spot in the magazine to those they thought had the minerals.
We’ve been thinking about this for a good while now here at INSIDE HQ, (which for the purposes of this feature is currently our kitchen. Next week it might be the heady heights of the dining room. Who knows?) and were prompted recently by a random IG message from a young guy from Somerset in the UK by the name of Kzekha.
Anybody who has the balls to reach out to us gets a consideration here, especially when they’ve only been producing for 6 months like this fella. With this in mind we sparked up a bit of a conversation and this fella now proudly resides on the site as our first ever ‘Breaking New Talent’ feature. We’re hoping that there’ll be lots more of these, from all areas of the Globe and through all styles and age ranges. So far as we can see, there is nothing more important than supporting the up and coming and ALL new talent will be considered for a feature. Everybody has to start somewhere, and we can see potential everywhere we look in this wikked scene we call drum and bass. This time we bring you……………………
