Alongside the emerging jungle sound (and jungle tekno) and piano breakbeat movements that were rife in 1992, there was also the very British sound of UK Hardcore, or 'Ardkore Tekno. This was a mostly 4/4 techno style with lots of rave stabs and euphoric riffs with (or without) a smidgen of breakbeats.
