For over two decades, Jungle Bells co-founders Brandon Couturier and MJ Lee have been building the Southeast’s underground rave scene from the ground up, championing DNB long before it hit its current global revival. Jungle Bells 2025 will be alive and kicking on the 12/13 December and we wanted to find out more!

If you lived near a pirate radio station, hearing jungle on the airwaves was nothing new, but if you lived outside the scope of that network, you had no chance, unless you had a good friend that would send you tapes!

We take a look at, and a listen to the first round of BBC Radio 1’s now iconic ‘One In The Jungle’ , first aired in the summer of 1995.
